From August 27--31 2006 the third Summer School in Simultaneous
Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) will be hosted at the University of
Oxford, UK. The goal of this summer school is to disseminate the basics
and state-of the art in SLAM research to postgraduate students -
primarily working on doctoral degrees. This event will continue the
series of previous SLAM Summer Schools, held at Stockholm in 2002 and
LAAS-CNRS Toulouse in 2004. Over four days SSS06 will bring together
research students in SLAM from around the world to benefit from
lectures, laboratory sessions and informal interactions with some of the
leading researchers in the area.

Further details can be found at http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~SSS06

Subsidised places are available through the support of the European
Robotics Network (www.euron.org)
