                   Robotics: Science & Systems 2006
                            Call for Papers

Deadline for submissions: February 1, 2006

[Note: The deadline for submissions is firm; any request for
extensions will unfortunately be declined.]

Submissions are solicited for RSS 2006, a conference that will bring
together researchers working on algorithmic or mathematical
foundations of robotics, robotics applications, and analysis of
robotic systems. High quality, original papers are solicited in all
areas of robotics. The final program will be the result of a highly
selective review process designed to include the best work in every
category. The conference will be single track to give attendees an
opportunity to see the best research in all areas of robotics. The
program will include invited talks as well as oral and poster
presentations of refereed papers. All papers presented at the
conference will be published in the conference proceedings by MIT
Press and will be made freely available for download on the
Internet. The main conference will be followed by one day of
workshops. Proactive efforts are underway to keep conference expenses
affordable, particularly for student attendees.
