IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics

       ROBIO 2006
       Kunming, CHINA

       December 17-20

Dear colleague,

2006 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO
2006) will be held in Kunming, China, December 17-20, 2006. A young and
well-respected annual conference, the Kunming meeting will build on
ROBIO's success the previous two years in Shenyang and Hong Kong, and
offer an excellent forum for researchers in robotics and biomimetics
from Asia as well as around the world to exchange their ideas and
latest results.

All papers accepted by ROBIO 2006 will be indexed by *EI* and included
in IEEE Xplore. The paper submission deadline is July 1, 2006

*** TOPICS ***

ROBIO 2006 solicits submission of full-length papers in all areas of
robotics and biomimetics. We particularly encourage the submission of
papers in the following areas.

Mobile robotics,
medical robotics, tele-robotics, robot vision, sensing, sensor
networks, multi-robot systems, virtual reality, human-machine
interface, intelligent systems

Humanoid robots, biologically inspired robotics, biomimicking
robots/systems, flying robots, and snake robots;

Smart structures,
materials, and actuators, cellular/molecular motors, MEMS/nano
fabrication, micro/nano robotics, micro/nano manipulation, micro/nano
