  THE 2006 ONASSIS LECTURE SERIES
in COMPUTER SCIENCE

With the aim of the further education and promotion of talented young 
Greek and other European scientists, post Graduate and advanced 
Undergraduate students,
 the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation 
<http://www.onassis.gr/> in cooperation with the Foundation for Research 
and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) <http://www.forth.gr/> organize annually,
series of advanced seminar lectures <lectures.html> of one week duration 
each.
 This year's lecture series in Computer Science will be given 24-28 July 
at FORTH in Heraklion Crete,Greece and they centre on a major theme:
"Robots Intelligently Interacting With People"
The Onassis Foundation provides financial support to 20 highly qualified 
students from European countries for their travel and local expenses,
who will be selected on the basis of their academic performance.
