[robotics-worldwide] IFAC08 Highlight Session - Mechatronics Education

The 17th IFAC World Congress will be held in Seoul, Korea, from July
6-11, 2008 (http://www.ifac2008.org/).  The highlight session on
Mechatronics Education has been proposed. You are cordially invited to
contribute to the special session.

The invited session aims to bring the academics involved in mechatronics
and robotics together to exchange their teaching methods, curriculum
development, and good practices that are relevant to mechatronics
education. The invited session covers, but is not limited to, the
following topics 

Simulation tools, control prototyping tools / software, and experimental
setup for mechatronics education.
Mechatronics curriculum development, course development.
Mechatronics design projects to support project-based learning.
Problem-based learning.
New applications of mechatronics: bio-instrumentation & control,
bio-mechatronics, info-mechatronics.
Robotics and automation case studies

Important Dates
08 Sept 2007: Deadline for online submission. Full manuscript of six
pages.
15 Dec 2007:   Notification of acceptance from the conference organiser
