ABSTRACT
=========================
Automation is one of the most important reasons in the improvement of
farming efficiency. At present time, the maturing technologies in the
robotics community pave the way for the very exciting deployments of
robust robotics systems in the semi-structured environments of large
scale farming. This potentially increases the productivity and the
quality of agricultural facilities. It also potentially alters the way
farming industry is modelled and carried out in a drastic manner. The
futuristic vision of the emerging trend in autonomous farming is
discussed in this workshop, critically explored through the presentation
of the state-of-the-art technologies available today. Examples of
robust implementation on robotics technologies on the semi-structured
farming tasks will be presented by the panel of speakers.

LIST of TOPICS
==============
* Applications of robotics technology on farming tasks
* A streamlined approach to future autonomous farming
* Weed detection
* Dynamics, modeling and control of agricultural machinery
* Machine Vision for Infield Crop Sensing
* Other topics are to be confirmed soon.
