Dear Researchers,

Call for Papers for ICRA2011 Communications (Industrial Papers)

IEEE ICRA Communication is a new paper category at the ICRA conference
starting from ICRA 2011 in Shanghai.

Initial Submission Due: Dec. 20th, 2010
http://www.icra2011.org/

The purpose of ICRA Communication is to provide a platform to industrial
researchers to present their recent work, and to encourage interactions
between industrial and academic researchers and students. Different from
regular 6-page full paper contributions, a Communication paper is
limited to 2-4 pages for presenting contributions on advanced
technologies implemented in current products or developed for future
applications. It will be reviewed by a special PC committee which mainly
consist of members who are current industrial researchers and
researchers with recent industrial experience.

All accepted communication papers will be included in the ICRA
conference DVD proceedings as a new category, and will be searchable via
internet after the conference.

ICRA Communication papers should primarily include advanced technical
contents closely related to industrial systems, products or applications
in robotics and automation, instead of those from the academic view
point as for regular papers. The corresponding author should belong to
industry or have recent industrial experience.

The ICRA Communications should be submitted from ICRA 2011 Communication
submission site. The corresponding author should select one of two
presentation styles, oral and poster, at the initial submission.

IMPORTANT DATES:
