2010 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation
May 3, 2010, Anchorage, Alaska
GOAL AND SCOPE
This full-day workshop will provide an overview of the most recent advances about human-robot multimodal interfaces and it will explore new directions in the field, with a particular focus on interfaces for disabled people. The workshop will form an ideal environment for the emerging community to meet and exchange ideas.
The full information about the workshop (including the preliminary program) is available in the workshop web: http://nbio.umh.es/vr2/eventos/icra2010/home.html
A poster session will be organized for the participants. The attendees will have the opportunity to show some slides of their work and talk for some minutes to all the participants.
Topics considered within this workshop include, but are not limited to the following ones:
-Haptic-based Multimodal Interfaces
-Gestures-based Human-Robot Interfaces
-Ocular-based Multimodal Interfaces
-Lastest Technologies in Human-Robot Interfaces
-Integration of Brain-Computer Interfaces in Human-Robot Interfaces
-Human-Robot Interfaces for Disabled People
-Applications of Multimodal Human-Robot Interfaces
Prospective authors are invited to submit their contributions electronically in PDF format to José M. Azorín (jm.azorin at umh.es) by February 15, 2010.
The abstract submission should include:
-List of authors and affiliations
-Abstract of 500-800 words
A journal special issue is being planned in connection with this workshop.
The Workshop will take place on May 3rd, 2010 in the framework of the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2010).
