The Sub-committee on Bio-Systems and Health Care of the Mechatronics
Technical Committee in ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Division is
planning to organize an invited Session on Bio-Systems and Health Care
at the 2010 ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference, Cambridge MA,
September 13-15, 2010.

Important dates
 * Title and abstract e-mail to asada at mit.edu  Wednesday, March 3, 2010
 * Session code information to authors  Wednesday, March 10, 2010
 * Full manuscript submission   Monday, March 15, 2010
 * Notification of acceptance/rejection  May 15, 2010
 * Final manuscript submission   June 15, 2010

Bio-Systems:Emergent behaviors of multi-cellular systems; Bio-inspired
control; Systems biology; Complexity and stochasticity of biological
systems; Stochastic hybrid systems; Gene expression; Synthetic
biology; Biological robots

Health Care: Rehabilitation robotics; Elderly care; Neurophysiology
and motor control; Muscle actuators; Disease modeling and control:
diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disorders; Medical robotics and
surgery; Health monitoring: novel sensors, wearable sensors,
point-of-care, signal processing.

Should you be interested in participating in the invited session
focused on bio-systems and health care, please send an e-mail
describing the title and abstract of your paper and suggested session
title(s) to Harry Asada, asada at mit.edu, Chair of the Bio-Systems and
Health Care Sub-Committee by March 3, 2010. Once invited sessions are
approved, the corresponding authors will receive a session code, which
will be used for uploading the manuscript to the conference website by
March 15, 2010.
