CALL FOR PAPERS
===================================================================
The third IEEE RAS/EMBS International Conference on
Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics (IEEE BioRob 2010)
Dates: 9/26/2010 to 9/29/2010
Venue: University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
http://www.nml.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/BioRob2010/
===================================================================
BioRob is a highly interdisciplinary conference for scientists,
engineers, and students from different backgrounds to share and
learn about the most updated research results in the fast growing
field of robotics and mechatronics in medicine and biology. IEEE
BioRob2010 inherits the spirit of successful predecessors of
BioRob2006 (Pisa) and Biorob2008 (Scottsdale) and welcomes both
theoretical and experimental challenges in the field. The topics
of papers include but are not limited to:
- Biologically-inspired systems
- Biomechatronic systems
- Biorobotics
- Exoskeletons and augmenting devices
- Human-machine interaction
- Locomotion and manipulation in robots and biological systems
- Micro/nano technologies in medicine and biology
- Modeling interactions between robots and biological systems
- Neuro-robotics
- Protheses
- Rehabilitation and assistive robotics
- Surgery and diagnosis
