The 2010 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics
(ROBIO 2010) is to provide a forum for researchers in the
interdisciplinary areas of robotics and biomimetics to disseminate their
latest research results. The theme of ROBIO 2010 is "Robotics and
Biomimetics for Human Science and Engineering."

The ROBIO 2010 will be held in Tianjin, one of China's four
municipalities directly under the State Council. Tianjin is a major
international harbour on the western shore of the Pacific and the
northern extremity of the Bohai Bay, and a gateway to Beijing 120 km
away. Tianjin has defined its overall aim in national economic and
social development, and one of China's earliest modernized regions, the
center of commerce, trade and finance in North China, a comprehensive
industrial base of advanced technology and a modernized international
seaport metropolis opening in all directions. Tianjin is not only a
venerated settlement but also a thriving modern cultural city. The ROBIO
2010 conference provides a rich and unique cultural experience with
excellent technical and social programs.

Contributed Papers: Original papers are solicited in all related areas
of robotics and biomimetics. Full papers must be submitted in PDF format
prepared strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF
Documents for the IEEE XploreR. For detailed format information, please
visit the conference website. All accepted papers will be indexed by EI
and included in IEEE Xplore.
