*** Extended deadline to July 9, 23:59 PCT ***

The goal of the Symposium on Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems is to exchange and stimulate research ideas to realize advanced distributed robotic systems. Distributed robotics is a rapidly growing, interdisciplinary research area lying at the intersection of computer science, communication and control systems, and electrical and mechanical engineering. Technologies, algorithms, system architectures, and applications will be presented and discussed during a single-track, 3-days symposium.
Accepted papers will be included in the Proceedings of DARS 2010, which will be published as a volume of the Springer Tracts in Advanced Robotics (STAR) series. A special issue with the best papers in a top robotics journal is currently under negotiation.
Important dates:
Paper submission (extended deadline): July 9, 23:59 PCT
Notification of acceptance: September 1
Early registration and hotel at special rate: September 15
Camera-ready papers for conference proceedings: October 1Camera ready papers for conference book: December 15

We hope you will be able to join us and enjoy a few days of sound research work, stimulating discussions, visits of EPFL laboratories active in robotics research, and a great social event around the Lake of Geneva immersed in the beautiful fall colors, just at the end of the grape harvesting period.
