The 3nd Israeli Conference on Robotics
November 10-11, 2010
Herzelia, Israel
The Israeli Conference on Robotics (ICR) is a bi-annual meeting,
intended to provide a forum for Israeli and foreign researchers
and engineers from industry and academia to discuss and exchange
ideas on contemporary topics in robotics and automation. It is
also intended to encourage local and international collaborations,
and foster a viable robotics industry in Israel.
Specific goals of ICR2010 are to promote robotics as a field of
national priority, to support entrepreneurs in the robotics field,
and to encourage the use of robotics and automation in the
traditional industries, in agriculture, and in assisting the
elderly population. The conference organization is lead by a
steering committee that consists of senior representatives from
       industry and academia.
The scope of the conference covers topics that range from
theoretical developments to industrial applications and emphasize
current interests of the local robotics community and perceived
       needs of the Israeli industry:
Topics include, but are not limited to:
        Service robots
        Medical robots
        Robots in agriculture
Robots in security and defense applications
Micro robots for medical and military applications
        Biologically inspired systems
        Autonomous vehicles
        Multirobot systems
        Automated manufacturing
        Navigation and motion planning
        Localization and mapping
        Machine Vision
        Robotics Education
        Robot design and control
Potential contributors are requested to submit abstracts of up
to 400 words on any of the topics covered by the ICR conference
before May 31, 2010. Authors of accepted abstracts will be
requested to submit a full length paper for review before 31 July 2010.
