The FIRA RoboWorld Congress 2010 planned in Bangalore, India during 15-17 September 2010, brings together four international conferences for greater impact and scientific exchange in the robotics community, in parallel with the renowned FIRA RoboWorld Cup where real life competitions in various categories are being held. The steering committee of FIRA RoboWorld Congress and the executive committee of RoboWorld Cup is devoted to provide a common platform where both academic researchers and robotic practitioners meet to propel the community to the next level of excitement and breakthrough in the robotics community

The congress welcomes paper submissions from researchers, practitioners and students, and will cover myriad topics in intelligent control, autonomous systems and various robots including humanoids, social robotics, cooperative robotics, edutainment robots, service robots, personal robots and computational intelligence. Particular emphasis will be given to developments and applications in the area of human-robot interaction, computational intelligence, multi-agent robotic systems for services, entertainment, gaming and education.

The congress is aimed to attract a wide range of participants in Robotics through the following conferences, symposia and forums:

7th Int. Conf. on Computational Intelligence, Robotics & Autonomous Systems (CIRAS)
2nd Int. Conf. on Advanced Humanoid Robotics Research (ICAHRR) 
2nd Int. Conf. on Entertainment Robotics (ICER)
2nd Int. Robotics Education Forum (IREF)

PAPER SUBMISSION: Authors are invited to submit the complete manuscripts in PDF format. Submissions should be as per the LaTex or Word templates. Manuscripts are limited to eight (8) Springer format pages. The link to Springer format and the online submission link are available on the conference homepage.

SPECIAL SESSIONS: The Congress solicits special session proposals. The special sessions are intended to usher in, in-depth discussions in special areas relevant to the conference theme. The session organizers will coordinate the associated review process. The conference proceedings will include all papers from the special sessions.
