ROBOTICA 2011 -- Festival Nacional de Robótica
                         6-10 April 2011
IST - Alameda campus, Lisbon, Portugal

FreeBots is a competition challenging the research and development
community, worldwide, to present their research results in the form of
a public demo. The scope of the demos encompasses physical robots (one
or more), mobile or not, land, aquatic or aerial. Each demo will be
evaluated by a jury of prominent individuals with a strong connection
to robotics. From all the participants, 5 finalists will be selected,
from which a winner will be awarded.

The acceptance of demos may be limited due to the availability of
technical conditions at the site.

1. Technical-scientific quality of the proposal
2. Capability to present the solution to the public
3. Application potential
4. Quality and success of the demo

The FreeBots competition will take place in three days, according to the program:
Day 1 – setup
Day 2 – technical presentation to the jury
Day 3 – public presentation

A complete description of the competition can be found in the official
rules document available at the following URL:
