Dear colleagues,

The paper submission page for the 8th International Conference on Field and
Service Robotics (FSR2011) is now open.


The aim of the conference is to provide a forum on robotics research for field
and service applications. Research papers describing the work with 
both theoretical
and practical significance are encouraged to submit. Also encouraged are systems
integration papers reporting the performance evaluation in practical 
and field testing.

Please note the following information:


March 15, 2011 Submission of papers
May 18, 2011 Notification of Acceptance
June 15, 2011 Submission of Camera Ready Manuscripts
July 20-22, 2011 Conference


Matsushima has been well known for 400 years as one of the three most 
scenic spots
in Japan.  It is only 30 minutes by local train from Sendai, where IROS 2004 was
held. A sunset dinner cruise is planned during the conference.
Also, associated technical events such as laboratory tour will be organized in
Tohoku University, tentatively, on July 23.
