on Automation Science and Engineering
August 24-27, 2011 - Trieste, Italy
Website:  http://www.deei.units.it/CASE2011/

The seventh annual IEEE Conference on Automation Science and
Engineering (IEEE CASE 2011), sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and
Automation Society (RAS), will be held from August 24 to 27, 2011, in
Trieste, Italy. IEEE CASE represents the flagship automation
conference of the IEEE RAS and constitutes the primary forum for
cross-industry, multidisciplinary research in automation. The goal of
the conference is to provide a broad coverage and dissemination of
foundational research in automation among researchers, academics, and
industry practitioners.

The 2011 Edition of IEEE CASE will evolve around the themes of
Foundation and Automation, Life Sciences and Health Care (including
Hospital and medical robotics), Automation in Meso, Micro and
Nano-scale, Information Automation, Manufacturing Automation
(including Industrial Robotics), Automation in Logistics and Supply
Chain Management, Networked and Control Systems, Other Topics in
Automation (Green automation, Disaster management, Aerospace
automation, Intelligent transportation, etc).

The conference will be held in the Starhotels Savoia Excelsior Palace
in Trieste. The hotel is located in the hearth of the city and
reflects the charm of the Italian style based on the love of art,
culture, gastronomic tradition and well-being. Trieste is a city in
north eastern Italy, situated at the head of the most northern part of
the Mediterranean sea.
