The Mechanisms and Robotics Technical Committee of the ASME Design
Engineering Division invites your participation in the 35th Mechanisms and
Robotics Conference scheduled as part of the 2011 ASME International Design
Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in
Engineering Conference at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in
Washington, DC, USA, August 28-31, 2011.

The ASME Mechanisms and Robotics Conference provides a premier international
forum for the exchange of technical and scientific information on the theory
and practice of mechanical systems, mechanisms, and robotics and seeks to
bring together researchers working in this area, to report recent
developments in the field, and to stimulate new directions of research. The
conference will feature peer-reviewed paper submissions, tutorials and
workshops, keynote speakers and student mechanism and robot design
competitions. Topics-of-interest span areas central to the design and
control of mechanical systems including kinematics, dynamics, design,
computation, and software development, grouped under the following symposia:

1. Compliant Mechanisms
2. Tensegrity and Cable-Driven Systems
3. Mechanisms and Robots in Medicine
4. Mobile Robots
5. Parallel Manipulators
6. Mechanism Analysis and Synthesis
7. Robot Dynamics and Control
8. Mechanisms and Robotics Education

Prospective authors are invited to visit the IDETC2011 Web portal
(http://www.asmeconferences.org/IDETC2011/) and direct their submissions to
the most appropriate symposium within the M&R Conference.
