     ** Reminder: Early registration ends June 1, 2011 **

Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) brings together
researchers working on algorithmic and mathematical
foundations of robotics, robotics applications, and analysis
of robotic systems. The conference is single-track and the
final program is the result of a highly selective review
process, to give attendees an opportunity to see the best
research in all areas of robotics.

The program is now available online here:
and includes invited talks, long oral presentations, short
oral presentations and poster presentations of refereed
papers. The main conference is preceded and followed by a
workshop and tutorial day. All papers presented at the
conference will be made freely available for download on the

This year's program includes several innovations: an
increased number of workshops, short oral presentations for
each poster, a video session, an extended open-mike session,
and forums for late-breaking ideas. The poster session,
always the site of vibrant debate at RSS, will be held
during the afternoon following a catered lunch.

Efforts have been made to keep conference expenses
manageable, particularly for student attendees. A limited
amount of affordable on-campus housing is available next to
the conference site. Hotel rooms at reduced rates are also
available within a 10 minute walk of the conference
site. Special registration packages (single or two day
workshop-only) are also available.
