The Robonaut 2 Intelligent Systems Group at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX is seeking excellent researchers to develop the next generation humanoid robot applications & control software. Team members will have the opportunity to address advanced robotics topics that will allow the Robonaut project to meet its long term service goals both inside and outside the International Space Station (and beyond!).
Be a part of robotics history to work with the first humanoid robot in space!
Candidates should be highly motivated to pursue research topics in the areas of (but not limited to):
* Dexterous manipulation
* Machine Learning for robotics
* Grasp & Motion control/planning
* Assistive Autonomy/Tele-Operation
* Multi-Modal Perception
* Adaptive control
****Note: all applicants must be US Citizens.****
