The National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC), part of Carnegie
Mellon's Robotics Institute, is recruiting multiple full-time staff and
postdoctoral researchers to develop a winning entry into the newly
announced DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC).

All NREC staff hold permanent positions, allowing for future work on a
wide variety of robotics systems developed at NREC, in particular
potential commercialization opportunities arising from DRC technologies.

Postdoctoral positions are additionally available with various NREC
affiliated faculty members.

Successful applicants should hold an MS or Ph.D. degree in robotics or
related fields, with relevant domain expertise in multiple of the following:
    * mobile manipulation
    * controls and dynamics
    * graphics and visualization
    * teleoperation over low-fidelity communication networks
    * rigorous robotics testing experience

If you are interested, please contact Jenn Gustin at
jobs at nrec.ri.cmu.edu with a C.V. and cover letter describing your
relevant experience and motivation.
