ACRA papers are six to ten pages in length.
Each paper may be accompanied by a short (1-2 minute) video that helps to
describe the methods or results described in the paper. This is highly
encouraged.

10 reasons to submit to ACRA:

1) Disseminate state-of-the-art research in the field of Robotics and
Automation.

2) Highest ranked robotics conference in the southern hemisphere.

3) Share interesting and related work - in the fields of robotics,
automation and mechatronics providing a forum to present a breadth of
research activities to the wider Australasian community.

4) Experience the Coolest Little Capital in the World - Wellington is named
as the 4th top city in the world to visit by Lonely Planet Best in Travel
2011

5) ACRA is a quality assured, peer-reviewed conference featured in Scopus,
Google Scholar and other ranking engines.

6) Since 1999, ACRA has brought together Australian, New Zealand and
worldwide researchers and students. This year's conference will be the 14th
ACRA, so be part of a well established conference series that includes many
influential papers.

7) Single tracked conference (no parallel sessions or posters) that creates
a truly collegiate atmosphere.

8) Strong Australian dollar meaning cheap flights, accommodation and meals
- direct flights from major east coast Australian cities, e.g. Sydney,
Melbourne and Brisbane.

9) Welcome gathering and conference banquet in great harbour/city centre
locations.

10) Catch-up and meet new colleagues. Escaping the office and administration
helps stimulate research and collaboration!
