Registration is now open for HRI2012, the 7th ACM/IEEE International
Conference on Human-Robot Interaction, to be held in Boston, Massachusetts,
USA from March 5-8, 2012. Early registration closes January 31, 2012.

HRI is a single-track, highly selective annual international conference that
seeks to showcase the very best interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary
research in human-robot interaction with roots in social psychology,
cognitive science, HCI, human factors, artificial intelligence, robotics,
organizational behavior, anthropology and many more, and we invite broad
participation. The theme of HRI 2012 is "Robots in the Loop." For more

ACM/SIG/IEEE/HFES/AAAI Members:               575 USD
Student Members                               250 USD
Non-Members                                   675 USD
Student Non-Members                           300 USD

Late and on-site registrations are also offered. Registration to the
conference includes admission to the poster session and reception at the
Microsoft New England Research and Development Center for one person. Extra
reception tickets may be purchased during online registration or on-site for
40 USD.

Rooms at the Back Bay Hilton will be available at the conference rate of
$135 per night (before tax) between the dates of March 2, 2012 and March 11,

This is an excellent rate for the Boston area. To obtain this rate, your
hotel room reservation must be made by February 3, 2012.

STUDENTS: If you are looking to share a room, please fill out the Student

We are pleased to announce that there is funding available to partially
support travel to HRI2012 for Student Volunteers. Students receiving support
will be expected to volunteer time to help with on-site registration and
with general duties, as needed, from 5 March (early on-site registration,
tutorials, and workshops) through 8 March, 2012. Note: You do not have to
have an accepted paper/poster at HRI2012 to be considered for financial
support, although students with accepted work will be given priority.
