Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organizers of the 2nd Summer School on
Neurorehabilitation, we have the pleasure to invite you to the 2012 SUMMER
SCHOOL ON NEUROREHABILITATION that will take place in Nuévalos, Zaragoza
(Spain) from September 16 to 21, 2012.

Neurorehabilitation is entering a new exciting era. A wide range of new
technologies is increasingly being integrated into clinical practice,
enhancing the potentiality of therapists and clinicians to rehabilitate,
diagnose and generate knowledge.

The theme of the conference is "Emerging therapies". The Summer School will
focus on the following main areas:

- New therapies in Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy and
Parkinson´s Desease.
- Current and future clinical applications of Robotics, Neuroprosthetics,
BCI and Virtual Reality.
- New tools for the diagnosis and modeling of neuromotor disabilities.

In the morning and afternoon the students will attend plenary talks and
hands-on workshops (see the list below). In the late afternoons and
evenings, students and speakers are invited to participate in social,
cultural and sport activities.

Zaragoza is the capital city of the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain.
It is situated on the Ebro river and its tributaries, the Huerva and
Gállego, near the centre of the region, in a valley with a variety of
landscapes, ranging from desert (Los Monegros) to thick forest, meadows and
mountains. In this area extraordinary landscapes and historical towns can
be found, which constitute the municipality of Nuévalos. Here lies the
Monasterio de Piedra , founded in 1194 by Alfonso II of Aragon with
thirteen Cistercian monks from Poblet Monastery, built as an old castle
next to the Piedra river. It was dedicated to St. Mary the Fair (Santa
María la Blanca). The entire complex has been declared a national monument.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Zaragoza September 2012!
