The Robot Film Festival is an annual celebration of robots on screen
and in performance. The event features screenings of invited films and
juried selections from open-call submissions, live performances by
robot entertainers, and a red-carpet awards ceremony. This year's
Robot Film Festival will be held on July 14, 2012 at the 3LD Art &
Technology Center at 80 Greenwich St, NY.

Now in its second year, the Robot Film Festival is more than an annual
event —- through its online video archives and traveling screenings at
select venues around the country, the team behind the Robot Film
Festival is nurturing a community of creatives and engineers who
imaginatively explore the potential of human-robot relations.

The submission deadline for your outstanding, dazzling, hilarious, or
thought-provoking short films is June 15 (approaching quickly)! Films
should less than eight minutes long and should feature a robot as one
of the main characters as or framing devices of the narrative.
