First International Conference on Cable-Driven Parallel Robots

2 - 4th September 2012, Stuttgart, Germany

www.ipa.fraunhofer.de/CableCon <http://www.ipa.fraunhofer.de/CableCon>

Objective

It's time to dedicate a forum to Cable-Driven Parallel Robots, to bring the cable robot community together, to exchange ideas, and to create new connections between active researchers around the world. Within this conference, the international community is invited to present the state of the art, including both summarizing contributions as well as latest research results. Some of the mostly recognized experts are invited to give keynotes in order to consolidate the state of the art in key areas such as workspace, design, and control.
