Here is the revised text. The special session is of interest to the robotic

This is to bring your kind attention towards the special session on
"Bendable, Stretchable Sensors and Systems" at the IEEE Sensor 2012
Conference (http://ieee-sensors2012.org/). This special session will focus
on the sensors systems with features like bendability, flexibility,
conformability, stretchability etc. of the sensor systems. Such features are
considered important for the robotic skin - to cover body parts of various
type of robots and to provide feedback through touch sensing. Recent efforts
reported in this direction include the examples of robotic skin based on
flexible PCBs, thin film transistors, and MEMS based sensors etc. The
special session will bring together experts working on sensors systems with
aforementioned features. Interested contributors from robotic sensors
community may submit their abstracts by 4th May 2012 (GMT - 07) to the
"special session papers" track - including a remark that "the paper to be
considered for the special session on Bendable, Stretchable Sensors and

A special journal issue on the same topic is planned in IEEE Sensor Journal.
