Scholarships available for MSc in Robotics at the University of Birmingham, UK

Scholarships of £5000 are now available for successful applicants to the MSc Robotics programme at the University of Birmingham. This money can be put towards living costs and expenses.

This MSc programme is for graduates from any numerate science or engineering discipline. Students will learn the theory and practice of robotic control, artificial intelligence for robotics, robot vision, robot manipulation and software frameworks for mobile robots and robot manipulators. You will undertake two short projects on current research within the Intelligent Robotics Lab (http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/go/irlab). We will also arrange industrial placements for our students with leading robotics companies in the region and around the UK. Entrants to the programme should have had some exposure to programming. A pre-semester course in programming for those not adept in C/C++ or Java will be offered.

To apply for a scholarship you must have completed an application at the URL above by April 30th 2013. Scholarship decisions will follow an interview and will be decided on May 18th 2013.
