Dr. Juan Pedro Bandera (Univ. of Málaga, Spain)

Dr. Rafael García (Univ. of Girona, Spain)

The growing interest in the international community by the use of mobile
autonomous robots in real scenarios makes necessary to correctly solve a
large number of tasks. In order to contribute to new knowledge in the field
of robotic intelligence is nowday one of the major issues in many research
projects and lines related to robotics.

This first Hispanic-Brazilian Workshop provides a joint framework for
cooperation and a first formal contact between the University of
Extremadura and the Federal Universities of Rio Grande and the Federal
University of Minas Gerais, in the field of autonomous mobile robotics and
intelligence robotics. Opening to other national and international groups,
provides an interesting scenario for exchanging knowledge, ideas and future
work. The Spanish team is composed of members of the Laboratory of Robotics
and Computer Vision (RoboLab <http://whisbra2013.unex.es/robolab.unex.es>)
of the University of Extremadura. Meanwhile, the Brazilian team will be
composed of members of the Robotics and Intelligent Automation (NAUTEC)
Federal University of Rio Grande and Computer Vision Group and Robotics
(VeRLab) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Both teams, Spanish and
Brazilian, work in the field of mobile autonomous robotics, leading major
research projects in recent years in the area of autonomous robotics,
social robotics and robotics applied to the exploitation of energy
resources.

We are looking for submissions of research posters, from both academia and
industry, describing ongoing robotics research, exciting new research
projects, and encouraging preliminary results.

Posters should describe novel or interesting research topics in robotics,
signal processing or artificial perception.

Topics:

Human-Robot Interaction

Navigation and localization

Modeling

Artificial Perception

Planning

...

Submissions :

One page extended abstract, including the motivation, the methods, and the
main findings.
