Honeybee Robotics is looking for a top notch EE with 3+ years of 
experience who is cross-trained in electrical design including board 
layout, control system design, software programming, and motion control 
product integration to join our team.

This position is located in Pasadena, CA.  US citizenship or Permanent 
Residency is a must per government contract requirements. Relocation is 
not available.

Key Job Responsibilities

. Design, build and test control systems products

. Design, code and test software programming applications

. Develop control system specifications

. Work with System Engineering to develop new products/technology

. Support field and customer site integration & test (travel required)

. Handle ITAR-sensitive information

Required Qualifications

. B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

. 3+ years of experience

. Requires knowledge of communication protocols, PID control, C/C++, 
Visual Studio, LabView, MATLAB, PLC control and schematic capture programs.

. Experience integrating CAN, serial, Modbus, and Ethernet communication 

. Experience with very low-noise analog and digital circuit design

. Experience in soldering, harness routing and layout

. Creating and understanding electrical schematics

. Experience specifying electrical components, with the ability to make 
cost vs. performance decisions

. Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and vendors

Additional Qualifications

. Computer Science and Control Theory practical experience

. Some background in mechanical systems (e.g., robots, automation systems)
