- Acceptance Notification: February 8, 2013

IEEE WHC 2013 is sponsored by the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society and Korea Robotics Society. The multidisciplinary field of haptics includes advanced robotic systems that enable haptic human-machine interactions.

The 2013 program will feature a demo session that provides the opportunity for researchers and developers from academia, industry, and government to explore and interact with the latest research results. Towards this goal, IEEE WHC 2013 solicits demonstrations presenting recent original results or ongoing research. Authors are invited to submit interesting results on all aspects of haptics. Demonstrations will allow one-on-one interaction with attendees and authors, where the benefits of the proposed research can be practically highlighted, thereby enhancing its impact.

VENUE
Daejeon Metropolitan city has well-earned reputation for the leading city of advanced science and technology in Korea. The 30-year history "Daedeok Research & Development Specialized Zone", which is "Daedeok Innopolis", in Daejeon is the complex that over 250 research institutes, universities and high-tech companies. The conference will be held at Daejeon Convention Center, equipped with facilities applying the modern technology of Daejeon.
