Call for Papers

The 13th IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots
(Humanoids 2013) will be held on October 15-17, 2013 in Atlanta,
Georgia, USA. The conference theme is .Humanoids in the Real World.
reflecting growing interest in intelligent and dependable robots
that interact with humans and assist in human environments. Atlanta
is easily accessible with direct flights from most major airports
worldwide. The venue is located in the heart of Atlanta.s tourist
district with easy access to the World.s Largest Aquarium, Coca
Cola Museum, Imagine-It Museum, Olympic Park and CNN Headquarters.
It is also next door to the Georgia Institute of Technology, an
emerging leader in Humanoid Robotics which will be displaying their
latest technologies in technical tours.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Mechanism Design and Control of Humanoid Robots
* Software and Hardware Architecture, System Integration
* Stability and Dynamics for Humanoid Robots
* Whole Body Motion Planning and Control
* Learning Strategies for Humanoid Robots
* Imitation Learning
* Perception for Humanoid Robots
* Humanoid Grasping and Manipulation
* Human-Humanoid Interaction
* Motion Planning for Humanoid Robots
* High-Level Planning and Cognition
* Human Body and Behavior Modeling
* Neuro-Robotics and Robot-Brain Interfaces for Humanoids
* Humanoid Robot Applications

Contributed papers will be presented either at a single-track
oral-presentation session or at poster sessions.  All the contributed
papers will appear without distinction in the conference proceedings
as well as IEEE Xplore.

CONTRIBUTED PAPERS:
By popular request, the deadline for submission has been extended. All 
papers must be submitted electronically by:

The maximum number of pages is limited to six, including figures.
A maximum of 2 additional pages will be permitted at an extra page
charge of USD 200 per page.  Detailed instructions for paper submissions
and format can be found on the conference website.
Authors of accepted papers are encouraged to provide a link to their
websites showing videos instead of embedding videos in their papers.

TUTORIAL & WORKSHOP PROPOSALS:
Proposals for half-day or full-day tutorials and workshops must be 
submitted to the Tutorials/Workshops Chairs in PDF format through 
PaperPlaza, in a similar manner to papers.

information, (4) Objectives and Topics, (5) Intended Audience, and (6) 
List of Speakers.
