Call for Papers - RSS 2013 Workshop on Multi VIew Geometry in RObotics (MVIGRO)
June 28, 2013, Berlin
Website: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/events/mvigro/

MOTIVATION AND OBJECTIVES
---------------------------------------------

Multiple view geometry plays a key role in many areas in robotics with novel approaches being actively developed in recent years. Ongoing research includes different fields such as visual servoing and control, surveillance, indoor and outdoor vision-aided navigation, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), cooperative localization, detection of moving objects and operation in dynamic environments. Next-generation robotics are required to have a higher level of autonomy and robustness, operating over long periods of time and in a wide spectrum of scenarios whose nature changes from one environment to another (e.g. ground, underwater, aerial, space). Harnessing the full potential of multiple view geometry can address these challenges, advancing the state of the art.

This workshop aims to bring forward the latest breakthroughs and cutting edge research on multiple view geometry in robotics, as well as discuss challenges and future research directions.
