*Second call for papers* (Initial Abstract Submission - *June 30, 2013*)

The Israeli Conference on Robotics (ICR) is a biennial meeting, intended to
provide a forum for Israeli and foreign researchers and engineers from
industry and academia. It is also intended to encourage local and
international collaborations, and foster a viable robotics industry in
Israel.

ICR2013 will host ISRACAS’ 2013, the 15th Israeli Symposium on
Computer-Aided Surgery, Medical Robotics, and Medical Imaging.

The scope of the conference covers topics that range from theoretical
developments to industrial applications and emphasizes current interests of
the local robotics community and perceived needs of the Israeli industry
and economy.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

Service robots
Medical robots
 Robotics Education
Robots in agriculture
Security and defense applications
 Microrobots
Biologically inspired systems
Autonomous vehicles
 Multirobot systems
Automated manufacturing
Navigation and motion planning
 Perception
Localization and mapping

 Submissions

Potential contributors are requested to submit initial abstracts of up to *2000
characters* on any of the topics covered by the ICR conference before *June
30, 2013 (new date)*. Authors of accepted abstracts will be requested to
submit a camera-ready single-page abstract before August 31, 2013. The
submission of a full-length paper is encouraged.  The accepted abstracts
and papers will be published on a CD of the proceedings.
