CFP for SI on Neuronal Dynamics Approaches to Cognitive Robotics

Paladyn. Journal of Behavioral Robotics invites manuscripts for the Special Issue on Neuronal Dynamics Approaches 
to Cognitive Robotics. Neuronal dynamics provides a powerful theoretical language with which embodied and situated 
cognitive systems can be designed and modeled. It is based on neural principles, but also enables robotic implementation 
through simple interfaces with sensory and motor systems.

The special issue will be based on the materials from the summer school on Neuronal dynamics approaches to cognitive 
robotics, organized by the Institut fur Neuroinformatik, Ruhr-Universitat Bochum, Germany: http://www.robotics-school.org. 
The special issue also invites manuscripts from other interested researchers as well. The scope of the topical issue includes 
but is not limited to:

- behavioral dynamics
- neural dynamics
- dynamics of learning 
- cognitive robotics
- developmental robotics
- affective robotics
- neurally inspired robotics
- neural networks, neural computation
- humanoids
- human-robot interaction, symbiotic robots
- evolutionary robotics
