Seattle, Washington (USA), 26-30 May 2015

CALL FOR ROBOTICS CHALLENGES
*******************************

The International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) is seeking
organizers to propose and run Robotics Challenge events. Our goal is to
make the challenges accessible to all members of the ICRA community, to
integrate them tightly with the technical aspects of the conference, and to
encourage as many participants as possible to bring their teams and
participate.

Prospective organizers should submit a proposal, maximum five pages in
length, containing the following information:

   - Title
   - Abstract appropriate for possible web promotion of the challenge
   - Detailed description of the challenge and its relevance to the ICRA
   conference
   - Plan for soliciting participation
   - Proposed schedule for receiving submissions
   - Short bio of the organizers
   - Funding source (if any) that supports or could support the challenge
   - Preference or requirements (if any) for space or special sessions

Both academic and corporate organizers are welcome. Proposals will be
evaluated based on relevance, originality, ambition, feasibility, and
implementation plan. The ICRA organizers offer support with basic logistics
and funding. Prospective organizers are encouraged to contact the Chairs
in case of questions.

*Submissions*
Please email your proposal to icra2015challenges at gmail.com by August 8,
2014 or contact chairs for an extension if needed.
