We are very pleased to inform you that the 2015 IEEE/RSJ International
Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) will take place in
Hamburg, Germany, September 28 – October 02, 2015.

For more information, please visit http://www.iros2015.org/.

Call for Contributions: prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality
papers representing original results in all areas of intelligent robot components,
systems, and applications. Best conference papers and best student papers will
receive an award.

Tutorials, Workshops, Exhibitions & Competitions: as with previous IROS
conferences, the organizers will arrange an extensive program of workshops and
tutorials to be held prior to the conference. Proposals for tutorials and workshops
that address topics related to the conference theme are welcome.
IROS 2015 invites all potential industrial partners to exhibit their products.

Robot competitions will be held in parallel to the technical program.

The deadline of submission for full-length papers, proposals for tutorials and
workshops is *March 1, 2015*

Detailed instructions for submissions are available on the conference website.

Call for Innovative Sessions: just like "organized sessions" of previous conferences,
the purpose of "Innovative Sessions" is to present a group of papers with new,
unestablished topics such as "Aerial Manipulation", "Cognitive Sensor Fusion",
"Dexterous In-Hand Manipulation", "Logistics Robots", “Robotic 3D assembly”, etc.
The goal of these sessions is that the proposed authors can meet to discuss the
topic. Their papers, like any other IROS paper, will be reviewed
and – if accepted – published in the proceedings.

IROS 2015 Innovative Sessions welcome active members or coordinators of
ongoing collaborative projects, focused PhD research training groups, special
interest groups, or any other organizers to submit proposals by filling
out the template that can be downloaded following this link:
for a Word file http://iros2015.org/docs/IROS2015-Innovative-Sessions-Template-for-Organisers.docx,
for an OpenDocument file http://iros2015.org/docs/IROS2015-Innovative-Sessions-Template-for-Organisers.odt
The completed form should be sent to innovative-sessions at iros2015.org.

The deadline of the innovation session submission
is *Jan. 16, 2015*.

The applicant will be informed of the decision on acceptance or rejection by
Jan. 31, 2015. Proposals with significant overlap will possibly be merged.
The papers organized by the accepted sessions will then be submitted to the
PaperPlaza system by March 1, 2015.
