[robotics-worldwide] [jobs] Post-doc position in human-robot interaction and learning

The Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics, ISIR, at Pierre and Marie Curie University and CNRS in Paris, France, is looking for a Post-doc to work on mobile robot behavior learning and planning in a context of interaction with people and groups of people.

This position is funded in the framework of a european project, SPENCER (Social situation-aware perception and action for cognitive robots) http://www.spencer.eu/, which deals with robots interacting with people and groups of people in dynamic environments. This project involves partners from major european research labs and industry.

Post-doc start date: October 2014
Duration 12 or 18 months.

Candidate's Profile:
- A strong background in machine learning and reinforcement learning, and in action planning is strongly sought, as well as competence in robot perception.
- Knowledge of ROS,  and PR2 if possible
- A strong publication record
- Proven programming capacities
