Dear AAAI Members,

We invite your participation at the Twenty-Ninth AAAI Conference on
Artificial Intelligence, the First Winter AAAI, to be held in Austin,
Texas, USA, January 25-29, 2015. The program chairs for AAAI-15, Sven
Koenig and Blai Bonet, have instituted many innovations for this
inaugural winter conference, incorporating them into all the
successful components of past conferences. Please mark the following
dates on your calendar:

    September 10, 2014: Electronic abstracts due
    September 15, 2014: Electronic papers due
    October 22 - 24, 2014: Author feedback about initial reviews
    November 7, 2014: Notification of acceptance or rejection
    November 20, 2014: Camera-ready copy due at AAAI office

tracks and a preview of planned innovations is available at

workshops, encouraging participation by organizers and attendees from
disciplines other than AI.

** Senior Member Presentation Track **

NEW! "Blue sky ideas" track and CCC Grants for best three proposals in
this track


   October 8: Electronic submissions of talks and papers due

** AAAI/SIGAI Doctoral Consortium **

EXPANDED! Initiative to involve more international participation

   September 22: Application Package Submission Deadline

** Student Abstract and Poster Program **

NEW! 3-minute presentation contest and best poster award


   September 23: Electronic Abstracts Due

** AI Video Competition **

NEW! Collaborating with other AAAI-15 Programs, the AI Video
Competition will give increased visibility to contributions also
featured in the main track, demos track, robotics track, or another
AAAI-15 event.

   October 15: Submission Deadline

** NEW! AAAI-15 Demos Program **

The Call for the Demos Program, which will highlight existing ideas
and foster new ideas for new systems among researchers and
practitioners, is forthcoming.

** EXPANDED! AAAI-15 Robotics Program **

The call for the Robotics Exhibition is forthcoming, and many
additional robotics activities are being planned as well.
