RSS Workshop on "Wearable Robots for Bipedal Locomotion": This full day workshop will take place as part of the 2015 Robotics: Science & Systems Conference at the Sapienza University (Rome, Italy), on July 17, 2015.
For more information, please see the workshop website at http://werobrss2015.ee.uh.edu/ for the agenda.

The goals of the workshop are: (1) Review the state-of-the-art in wearable robots for bipedal locomotion with respect to automated gait intention detection, associative and assist-as-needed control of wearable robots, potentialities/pitfalls of deployment of wearable robots at the clinic/home, and brain re-engineering (neuroplasticity) in human-machine systems; (2) Discuss challenges and desired real-world functionalities of wearable robots for persons with lower-body paralysis ('unconference' format), and 3) Participate in 'user-in-the-loop' demonstrations with wearable robots.
