*OBJECTIVES AND TOPICS*

The session is devoted to theory and practice of robotics technologies 
applied to various urban scenarios. A non-exhaustive list of topics include:

- Robotics methods (planning, perception, navigation,..) in urban areas

- Social robotics in urban areas

- Autonomous driving

- Advanced driving assistance systems

- Autonomous transportation of cargo

- Logistics applications of robotics

- Robotics applications in urban areas

The purpose of this Special Session is to join together engineers, 
researchers, and students to present and discuss new developments and 
innovative projects that are relevant to the session topics.

We are preparing an Special Issue in a JCR journal, where some of the 
selected papers will be included.

*SUBMISSION*

Authors are invited to submit their work to this Special Session 
following the guidelines of Springer AISC template 
(http://www.springer.com/series/11156) up to a maximum of 12 pages 
through the EasyChair interface 
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=robot2015).
