The University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC )  and EURECAT-ASCAMM , a prestigious robotics technology centre, are pleased to announce their joint Master's Degree in Robotics , with an innovative one-year learning track that focuses on new trends in industrial and mobile robotics.
The course aims to provide participants with the skills to understand a full robotic system and insight into specialist topics of interest. These skills will be developed through state-of-the-art, industry-demanded, open source resources, such as C++, Python, CMake, ROS, Gazebo, OpenCV, Eigen, Blender and GitHub, encouraging students to get involved with user communities online. From the outset, out-of-class assignments will be geared to integration, so students can incrementally build their own robotic system while learning and discussing with teachers and class companions.
The teaching team is made up of young, for the most part postdoctoral, experts with decades of combined experience working in robotics at industrial plants and research laboratories worldwide.
The course is divided into three main sections: Principles of Robotics, Industrial Robotics and Mobile Robotics. There is also a final project, with the opportunity for students to join a professional team at one of the Master's Degree partner organisations and enterprises.
