Dear all,

Due to several requests, we decided to postpose the deadline for paper submission for the IROS workshop on Agri-Food Robotics to *July 22*. Details on the workshop can be found in the text below.

on behalf of the organizing committee,
Gert Kootstra

IROS 2015 Full-Day Workshop on

at the 2015 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) Hamburg, Germany Friday, October 2, 2015

This full-day workshop focuses on the intersection between robotic systems and the agricultural sector, with emphasis on food production (agri-food robotics). One of the main challenges in this field is to deal with the huge natural variability in agricultural products and environments, and the need for flexibility to perform different tasks. The workshop will focus on presenting and discussing the latest scientific and applied research on systems and methods to ensure that robots are equipped with the robustness and flexibility to deal with the variability. The workshop furthermore aims to give an overview of the state-of-the-art in the field and to discuss future directions, as well as to increase awareness of the scientific and societal challenges in agri-food robotics among robotic researchers, engineers, and practitioners in general.

- Submission of full-length paper (4-6 pages IROS style): July 22, 2015 (EXTENDED)
- Notification of acceptance: Aug 31, 2015
- Submission of final paper: Sept 13, 2015
- Workshop: October 2, 2015

Every paper will be reviewed by at least two peers. The selection of accepted papers will be done by the organizing committee, based on the reviews. Contributions of highest quality will be selected for an oral presentations, others will be granted a poster presentation.
