CALL FOR ABSTRACTS AND VIDEO PRESENTATIONS

IWSR 2015 - International Workshop on Speech Robotics
A Satellite Workshop for INTERSPEECH
Dresden, Germany, Friday Sept 11, 2015

Abstracts for posters and video demonstrations are invited

Speech robotics involves the intersection of a variety of fields of research, including robotics and motor control theory, speech processing and speech communication, human-robot interaction, and more. The goal of this inaugural workshop is to bring together experts as well as young researchers from these and related fields to discuss ideas that may facilitate one-another’s work. The workshop furthermore seeks to bring together a community that may inform the development of mechanical vocal tracts and related speech robotics research tools and speech prosthetics devices.

This one-day workshop will consist of talks from a cross-section of experts, a review of the state-of-the-art in speech robotics technologies, and a round-table discussion.

Please send your abstracts or ideas for abstracts to Michael Brady at michael.brady at tufts.edu<mailto:michael.brady at tufts.edu>
