DETAILS

You are invited to apply and enjoy exciting days of engaging research
talks by world-leading academics in their respective research fields,
robot hacking, networking among peers, and hands-on experience from
robot practitioners. The LAMoR summer school is co-located with the
"European Conference on Mobile Robots (ECMR)" in Lincoln, UK (see ECMR
webpage https://lcas.lincoln.ac.uk/ecmr15/).

And, as a special perk we offer you to stay in your summer school
accommodation free of charge to attend the main "European Conference
on Mobile Robots (ECMR)" as well.

The LAMoR summer school is aimed at PhD students and PostDocs in
robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering and machine learning,
primarily. But if you are a MSc or PhD student, or an academic in
related disciplines, please feel free to apply!

The school offers an exciting program composed of morning research
presentations by leading academics in their fields, followed by
hands-on programming tutorials and exercises. You will be working in a
team with one of four mobile Scitos G5 platforms available for the
summer school. You will be working together to implement challenging
tasks (in C++ or Python, using ROS), cumulating in the opportunity to
present your achievements and yourself to the participants of the ECMR
conference during a dedicated poster and demonstration session at the
ECMR welcome reception.

See the summer school's website for all details on applying, special
offers, and other details:
