Dear colleagues,

The RobotLaunch international startup competition is now open and accepting applications. Run in partnership by Silicon Valley Robotics and Robohub, the competition is an excellent opportunity for young entrepreneurs to showcase their robotics research and business ideas and receive valuable feedback from experienced venture investors and robotics entrepreneurs from around the world.

The competition is looking for robotics startups with great business models and R&D, and also for startups with software, sensors and components for existing robotics platforms. Student projects, university spin-offs and labs with prototypes are also welcome to apply.

There is a prize pool of >$50,000 USD with grand prize of >$5,000 USD courtesy of our sponsors: Amazon, CSIRO, Clearpath Robotics, SMBC, Robolution Capital, Olander, Krtkl, iRobot, LaBarge Weinstein, WilmerHale, QUTbluebox, Silicon Valley Robotics and Robohub. Other prizes include mentorship, legal services and business model coaching from interested investors.

Startups that reach the top 30 will be showcased on Robohub (http://robohub.org/) for our Reader's Favorite award. See more at: http://robot2015.istart.org/#sthash.jXE4E0Lr.dpuf
