REMINDER ---- Actuator 2016 --- Session on Haptics and Tactile Applications --- abstracts due Nov 30 - http://www.actuator.de International Conference and Exhibition on New Actuators and Drive Systems Bremen, Germany, 13-15 June, 2016

Keynote Talk "Haptic feedback: from force-feedback robots to tactile interfaces", by Dr. Michael Wiertlewski

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to submit an abstract to ACTUATOR 2016, the 15th Int. Conf. on New Actuators and the 9th International Exhibition on Smart Actuators and Drive Systems. Please find more info below and on http://www.actuator.de The conference will take place from 13-15 June, in the Bremen Congress Center, Bremen, Germany

ACTUATOR is a major biennial event bringing together leading experts, suppliers and users in the field of new actuators and low-power electromagnetic drives from all over the world. For the third time, ACTUATOR will dedicate a special session on "Haptics and Tactile Applications".

Prospective authors should submit an abstract on Haptics or Tactile Applications, or any of the topics listed below, of 400 to 600 words in English, clearly describing the suggested content. They must quote the caption, the name(s) of author(s) and institution(s). The name of the author appointed for presentation should be underlined and the preferred kind of presentation (oral or poster) should be specified on the abstract. Additionally, we would like to publish a short abstract (10 lines/500 characters) of each contribution on the event homepage. Both abstracts need to be received by the organiser by uploading the files to http://actuator.de/openconf2016/openconf.php not later than 30 November 2015. All abstracts will be forwarded for review to the members of the committee, who will then decide on the acceptance as well as on final assignment to topics and sessions.

Authors appointed for presentation will be informed by 31 January 2015 as to whether their paper has been accepted for oral presentation or poster session. They will receive detailed instructions on suitable data formats and the layout of text and pictures for the final version of their manuscript. The final manuscripts have to be uploaded to the event homepage by 30 March 2016.

Exhibitors and other parties interested in contributing to the Exhibition Forum are asked to send a short English abstract of about 200 words by 31 March 2016 marked with the keyword "Exhibition Forum".
