It is our pleasure to announce the SICE Annual Conference 2016
(SICE2016) in September 2016.


SICE2016, organized by the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers
(SICE), will be held September 20-23, 2016, at Tsukuba International
Congress Center, Tsukuba, JAPAN. The SICE Annual Conference 2016 is an
international conference covering a broad range of fields from
measurement and control to system analysis and design, from theory to
application, and from so ware to hardware. The technical program of
SICE 2016 will consist of plenary and invited talks, tutorial courses,
and workshops, as well as oral and interactive sessions.

* Dates:
20th to 23rd September 2016

* Important Dates:
(March 15, 2016: Deadline of Proposal of Organized Sessions)
(March 31, 2016: Deadline of Submission for Regular Papers
                and Position Papers)
(March 15, 2016: Deadline of Proposal of Workshops and Tutorials)
(March 31, 2016: Notification of Acceptance of Workshop and Tutorial)
April 22, 2016: Deadline of Submission for Position Papers
June 1, 2016:   Notification of Paper Acceptance
July 1, 2016:   Submission of Final Camera-ready Papers

* Paper Submission

The SICE Annual Conference 2016 accepts two types of submissions
for review:

Regular paper: Full papers (6 pages in conference format) must be
submitted for review. The accepted papers will be submitted to the
IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Normal length for the final manuscript of
the regular paper is 6 pages. Papers exceeding 6 pages may be
submitted upon payment of overlength page charges. A maximum of 2
extra pages above 6 pages are permitted.

Position paper: Extended abstracts (2-4 pages in conference
format) must be submitted for review. This category is provided
for authors who want to present a timely review of research, a
case study, and so on. This type of paper will NOT be included in
the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Both types of papers should be written in English, and will be
included in the conference proceedings. An extra charge will apply for
every additional page for papers longer than 6 pages. The detailed
submission policy is found on the conference web page.
