*** Deadline for simulation track registration (Track 3): September 16, 2016 ***

We cordially invite you to compete in the coming Robotic Grasping and Manipulation Competition @ IROS2016 on Oct. 11 and 12, 2016. The registration deadline for Track 1&2 is September 1, 2016, and the registration deadline for the simulation track is September 16, 2016.

The competition is being supported by several sponsors:
-- Total $15,000 travel support. IROS2016 has generously provided total $15,000 travel support to selected teams.
-- Total $25,000 prizes. OptoForce, Robotous, and RightHand Robotics have generously committed several prizes with total value of around $25,000.
-- Robotic platform. Shadow Robot Company will provide a robotic platform to selected teams.
-- Robotic grippers. SAKE Robotics is willing to lend all teams their EZGripper robotic grippers for the competition for free.

After the competition, all participating teams are invited to submit a peer-reviewed chapter to the new Springer book titled Robotic Grasping and Manipulation Competition.

All registration submissions (team description and link to a demo video) should be emailed to yusun at mail.usf.edu before the deadline.

Competition Format and Rules: With real robotic systems, there are two tracks and two stages for each track. Each team will be provided a station at the competition site.
