The position is available immediately, but the starting date is flexible. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
 
The successful candidate will be working with Prof. Josh Bongard to extend an existing cloud robotics platform to enable large-scale acquisition of human languages by robots through interactions with participants on the web. A video summary of the current platform is available at

The ideal candidate will have completed (or be in the process of completing) their doctoral studies, and should have expertise in any of the following disciplines: machine learning, robotics, human computation, or human-computer interaction.
